Observations with the Electron Microscope on Biciliate and Quadriciliate Zoospores in Green Algae

Abstract

Quadriciliate zoospores of Draparnaldia and biciliate zoospores of Chaetomorpha have been examined using our previous methods. New features have been seen in both, chiefly in connexion with the basal organs which attach the cilia to the cytoplasm of the parent cell.
