Abstract
Certain dispersion formulas, relating the ellipticity and molecular rotation of optically active solutions, are derived. These are analogous to the Kramers‐Kronig transform relations between the absorption and refractive indices. Some discussion is offered of the factors influencing the respective shapes of absorption and ellipticity curves. Keywords
