Abstract
Two patients with disseminated germ cell tumors of testicular origin were treated with systemic chemotherapy [vinblastine, actinomycin D and bleomycin] for 5 and 10 mo. prior to excision of the primary neoplasm. Residual intratesticular tumor was present in each case, despite extensive destruction of distant metastases. The possible basis for such differences in chemotherapeutic response is discussed. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
