Abstract
This article describes 4 of the 35 lessons developed by the authors for use in computer-based biology courses at the University of Illinois. The lessons have been used as the nuclei of two undergraduate non-major courses in genetics and evolution. The advantages of computer-based education for students are discussed.Keywords
