Abstract
A high protein meal does not materially increase the blood glutathione in dogs. Orally or intravenously administered glutathione as well as an equi-molecular mixture of its 3 constituent amino acids influence the blood glutathione only slightly. The S of these substances is oxidized and excreted to the extent of 70 to 90%.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
