Multiphoton ionization spectroscopy: A new state of benzene

Abstract
The multiphoton ionization spectra of benzene‐h6 and benzene‐d6 are reported. A resonance is observed which is tentatively assigned to a theoretically predicted 1E2g state; however, an absolute assignment is not possible. (AIP)Keywords
