Abstract
For the solution of the micromagnetic equations of superconductors a method is developed which allows the determination of the elastic stresses from a stress function tensor. It is shown that the elastic strains present in a superconductor have the following sources: 1. Spontaneous volume dilatations. 2. Dielastic effects. 3. Effects of the non‐linear elasticity theory. The interaction energy of the elastic strains of a superconductor with stress active lattice defects is determined. The general theory is applied to the discussion of the discussion of the elastic strains due to a planar S‐N‐wall. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
