Abstract
Biexcitons in CuCl microcrystallites are investigated by recording their luminescence under high-laser-excitation conditions. The study of the line shape of the emission band attributed to biexciton-exciton transitions indicates an increase of the biexciton binding energy when the microcrystallite radius is decreased. In addition, the biexciton distribution established in microcrystallites is shown to be independent of the laser-excitation conditions, such as the laser intensity and frequency. Keywords
