Abstract
The comparative effectiveness of tetrachlorethylene [TCE] and bephenium hydroxynaphthoate was examined by means of a factorial experiment, each treatment combination being administered for 3 consecutive days. The result is expressed as the percentage of the total worm load removed by 1, 2 and 3 doses. Bephenlum was better than TCE in the doses employed; when given alone the anthelmlntlcs removed 81% and 56% respectively alter 3 days'' administration. The percentage removal was not influenced by the worm load, and no interaction between the 2 anthelmlntlcs, or between them and the number of doses, was demonstrated.
