Notizen: Vorkommen von Serotonin im Nervensystem von Periplaneta americana L. (Insecta)

Abstract

In addition to certain neurohormonal factors the presence of serotonin in extracts of the central nervous system of the cockroach was established by paper chromatography, UV-absorption measurements, and biological tests of the eluate. Experimental data and a brief description of methods used are given.
