Abstract
Obese (obob) mice on an ad libitum diet have never bred and produced offspring. These studies have shown: 1) that the testes of the obese males produce motile sperm; and 2) that some obese males will breed when kept on a restricted diet, and not allowed to exceed a weight of 25–30 grams. Further proof is offered that the obese condition is due to a unit recessive gene. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
