Abstract
Total body X-ray irradiation produces within a few hrs. a dose-dependent increase in the tryptophan peroxidase-oxidase system of rat liver. The increase does not occur in adrenalectomized rats, and hence cannot be construed as a direct effect of X-ray irradiation. Keywords
