Anomalous Low-Temperature Susceptibility for Very Dilute Mn in Cu

Abstract

Nuclear orientation experiments on ${}_{}{}^{54}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Mn}$ in copper indicate an anomalous low-temperature susceptibility for very dilute CuMn alloys. This is interpreted in terms of a Kondo condensation with $T_{\mathrm{K}}$ about 0.06°K.
