Pheochromocytoma of the Urinary Bladder

Abstract
APHEOCHROMOCYTOMA of the urinary bladder, to our knowledge, has not previously been reported. The discovery of this tumor in the bladder is of interest not only as a medical curiosity but also as an observation of general academic as well as clinical significance, for the finding is evidence that chromaffin tissue can occur in that organ.Case ReportA 74-year-old woman entered the hospital on March 24, 1950, because on two occasions she had noticed blood in the urine unaccompanied by pain.
