Proliferative Branchiitis due to Tetraonchus rauschi (Trematoda: Monogenea) in Captive Arctic Grayling (Thymallus arcticus)

Abstract
The monogenetic trematode T. rauschi was diagnosed as the cause of severe proliferative and inflammatory gill disease among captive Arctic grayling (T. arcticus). Grayling captured from the wild had few flukes and very limited pathologic lesions when compared to captive fish.
