Abstract
An integral formalism describing the diffraction properties of bi-metallic gratings (that is, gratings composed of two species of metals) is presented. Numerical results obtained from the theory reveal that anomaly suppression can be achieved by overcoating the 'off-blaze' facet of a triangular profile grating with a metal of weak conductivity. Keywords
