Abstract
The equilibrium and nonequilibrium susceptibilities and of the spin-glass have been measured as functions of temperature ( K) and a cooling field (). A phase transition occurs at a temperature below which the irreversible response appears. decreases from the freezing temperature ( K) as . For small , behaves as with field-dependent coefficients and and . The results are compared with the predictions of the mean-field theory of spin-glasses.
