Abstract
The hydration has been estimated by determining the distribution of acetone between water and a 10% solution of the colloid contained in a collodion sac. The following figures represent the water bound by 1 gm. of colloid. Na-gum 1.1, Ca-gum 0.9, Glycogen 0.27. The hydration did not change appreciably when the concn. of acetone varied from M to M/500.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
