The Heat of Sublimation of Tin and the Dissociation Energy of SnO

Abstract
The heat of sublimation of tin has been redetermined and found to be 70±2 kcal/mole. This value combined with the heat of formation of gaseous SnO agrees with the linear Birge‐Sponer extrapolation to the ground‐state atoms.
