EFFECT OF SERUM USED AS VEHICLE ON THE QUANTAL ASSAY OF HUMAN CHORIONIC GONADOTROPHIN BY THE OVARIAN HYPERAEMIA RESPONSE IN RATS

Abstract
No significant difference in response was observed between human chorionic gonadotropin dissolved in 35 or 70% serum and in saline. A loss of about 1/3 of the activity was found when undiluted serum was used.
