Abstract
Dimethacrylic esters of di‐, tri‐, and tetraethylene glycols; trimethacrylic ester of trimethylolpropane and tetramethacrylic ester of pentaerythritol were prepared by a commercially viable process in high yields and purity. These methacrylic esters were systematically characterized by infrared, 1H and 13C nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectroscopic methods. Anaerobic adhesive compositions were made based on each monomer, and their torque strengths were compared. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
