Abstract
The radioactivity binding of a tritiated tetrodotoxin preparation to an electric organ particulate fraction was compared with the binding of biological activity as determined by biological assay. This comparison shows that the chromatographically homogeneous toxin contained a large proportion of radioactive impurities which bind nonspecifically to the electroplax preparation.Keywords
