Abstract
Three areas present our best opportunity to improve reproductive performance in beef cattle. These are: (1) Increase the proportion of cows bred the first 21 days of the breeding season; (2) Increase the conception rate at first service; and (3) Decrease losses at or near birth. Additional information which can only be obtained from experiments designed solely to obtain physiological data pertaining to beef cattle reproduction is needed. Copyright © 1970.
