The IR-spectra of BaCO₃ (80% ¹³CO₃ ^2-, 90% ¹³CO₃ ^2-) shows small bands in the ν₂-region, which are assigned to short waves of ¹²CO₃ ^2--chains with three, five or six carbonate ions
