Abstract
An exact numerical solution is given of a model for stripping and elastic scattering based on three pairwise interacting spinless particles. Results are given (a) in the absence of a proton-nucleus Coulomb interaction and (b) when its presence is included approximately. The distorted-wave Born approximation as defined for this model has been calculated exactly and, together with the absorption model, is compared with the exact results. Keywords
