Abstract
A synthetic methodology for developing a polymeric nanoparticle for targeted computed tomographic (CT) imaging is revealed in this manuscript. The work describes a new class of soft type, vascularly constrained, stable colloidal radio-opaque metal-entrapped polymeric nanoparticle using organically soluble radio-opaque elements encapsulated by synthetic amphiphile. This agent offers several-fold CT signal enhancement in vitro and in vivo demonstrating detection sensitivity reaching to the low nanomolar particulate concentration range. Keywords
