Measurement of the Positiveπ-Meson Lifetime

Abstract
The time intervals between the succession of events: stopping of a meson in a stilbene crystal, decay and decay are used to identify the pulses produced by mesons and to measure the mean life of the -decay. For this mean life we find (2.58±0.14) × sec.
