Abstract
The reactions pp¯ΛΛ¯, pp¯(ΛΣ¯+Λ¯Σ0) and pp¯Σ+Σ¯ are studied using a Regge-pole exchange model. Only the contribution of the leading trajectory, which in this case is K*, is retained. In analogy with ρ, we assume a linear trajectory for K* with a slope close to that of ρ, and neglect the t dependence of the residues, after the threshold factor has been extracted out. The energy and angular dependence of the cross sections so obtained are in reasonable agreement with experiment.
