Moraxella kingii sp.nov., a Haemolytic, Saccharolytic Species of the Genus Moraxella

Abstract
A new Moraxella species, M. kingii, is characterized by [beta]-hemolysis, acid production from glucose and maltose and lack of catalase activity. The strain 4177/66, isolated from a nose swab, is designated as the type strain.
