Gonadoblastoma

Abstract
Gonadoblastoma is a rear ovarian tumor whose characteristic radiologic appearance consists of mottled or stippled calcification throughout the extent of the tumor. The tumor is associated with a fairly constant clinical syndrome consisting of primary amenorrhea, masculinization, and infantilism of the uterus. It usually occurs in females under the age of 25 years. Plain film radiographic findings with the addition of pelvic pneumography and the associated clinical background make a precise preoperative diagnosis possible in a high percentage of cases.
