Abstract

II. Deficiency of vit. B2 (G) does not produce a statistically significant deterioration in learning or retention of the water maze. Depletion of the vit. was begun two wks. after the birth of the young.[long dash]III. Depletion of vit. B1 in nursing rats beginning 2 wks. after birth and lasting for 4 wks. caused a significant retardation in the learning of the 1st maze, in the relearning of this maze, and in the learning of the 2d maze.
