Trimeric pentamethylcyclopentadienylvanadium dioxide, [(η-C5Me5)V(O)(µ-O)]3

Abstract

The preparation of (η-C₅Me₅)VO₂ from (η-C₅Me₅)VCl₂(O) and Ag₂CO₃ is reported; it has the trimeric structure [(η-C₅Me₅)V(O)(µ-O)]₃.
