Specific-Heat Anomaly of a Metallic Binary Liquid with Miscibility Gap

Abstract
An anomaly in the specific heat of liquid Ga-Hg near the critical point of phase separation is observed and found to resemble that measured in nonmetallic binary systems. The singular part of has a temperature dependence , with in the reduced temperature interval .
