Abstract
Intraven. admn. of 100-500 mg./kg. of Na tetrathionate to dogs causes coagulation necrosis of the proximal and distal convoluted, and hydropic vacuolization of the collecting renal tubules, resulting in uremia of severity roughly proportional to the dosage. Effects of this drug are confined to the kidney, making it useful for the production of uncomplicated exptl. uremia in dogs. Keywords
