Autographic Localization of Radio-Iodine in Stained Sections of Thyroid Gland by Coating with Photographic Emulsion.

Abstract
The technique for histologic localization of radioactive elements has been improved and is now easily reproducible. The method consists of covering the stained sections with a thin celloidin film, which is thoroughly dried, and of coating the whole with a fluid photographic emulsion. The exposure is carried out in a cold, dry atmosphere. A minimal exposure is recommended for maximal precision. A nearly cytologic localization may thus be obtained.
