Thermal Environment of Teeth During Open-Mouth Respiration

Abstract

An experimental study was made in an attempt to define the thermal environment of human teeth during open-mouth respiration. Results show that the environment can be affected considerably by ambient temperatures, ambient humidity, and dryness of the oral cavity.
