Abstract
Fucoidan and dextran sulfate showed anti-HIV activities against mononuclear cells from AIDS patients, and they abrogated HIV reverse transcriptase (RT) activity by interacting with the HIV envelope in the membranes of target cells. Furthermore, they showed a synergistic effect with azidothymidine (AZT).Keywords
