Abstract
In this paper some recent measurements of the radio echo power scattered by the lunar surface are reported. These measurements were made at a radio frequency of 440 Mcps using a parabolic reflector of 84 ft diameter and a peak transmitted power of approximately 2·5 MW. The received echo power was processed by a high-speed digital computer which is an integral part of the measuring system. Keywords
