STUDIES ON ADRENAL INSUFFICIENCY

Abstract

The Ca content of the blood serum of adrenal-ectomized dogs was generally found increased at the time of, or sometimes a little preceding, the development of the serious symptoms, especially anorexia, which terminate the period of good health. The results on the cholesterol content of the blood do not permit the conclusion that any decided change in either direction is present either during the period of good health or after development of the terminal symptoms.
