Abstract
In heterogeneous networks such as today's Internet, TCP must be made to handle links and paths with vastly different characteristics, including longer delays and dynamically changing available bandwidth. In this research, we first analyze the performance of TCP under networks with TCP-unfriendly characteristics and introduce an architecture to tackle the performance problems in such networks. Keywords
