Abstract
From the results of relaxation tests at modest temperatures on Nimonic 80A springs it is deduced that the shear strain ∊s produced by a constant stress σ in time t at temperature T would be: the low values of the exponent of stress and activation energy are interpreted to provide some confirmation of a generalized form of Mott's theory of transient creep. Keywords
