Abstract
Why do malignant tumors initially grow rapidly, then more slowly? What accounts for the different rates of growth among different tumors? Can the answers to these and related questions enable us to improve the results of cancer therapy? With advanced technology, we have come a long way in penetrating the mechanisms of tumor cell kinetics, but to date clinical strategies have not kept pace. Keywords
