Leptonic branching ratio of theϒ(2S)

Abstract

Using the CLEO magnetic detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we find $B\left(\Upsilon \mathrm{}\right(2S)\mathrm{}\to {\mu }^{+}{\mu }^{-})=0.018\mathrm{}\pm 0.008 \left(\mathrm{s}\mathrm{t}\mathrm{a}\mathrm{t}\mathrm{i}\mathrm{s}\mathrm{t}\mathrm{i}\mathrm{c}\mathrm{a}\mathrm{l}\right) \pm 0.005 \left(\mathrm{s}\mathrm{y}\mathrm{s}\mathrm{t}\mathrm{e}\mathrm{m}\mathrm{a}\mathrm{t}\mathrm{i}\mathrm{c}\right)$ and $B\left(\Upsilon \mathrm{}\right(2S)\mathrm{}\to {\tau }^{+}{\tau }^{-})=0.017\mathrm{} \pm 0.015\pm 0.006$.
