Abstract

In experimental carcinoma of the rat after treatment with diethylnitrosamine and nitrosomorphiline, a histologically demonstrable enzyme defect, the loss of the microsomal glucose-6-phosphatase becomes evident in the precancer stage or earlier in the region of the liver cell islands.
