Abstract
Loud sound repeatedly presented to one ear after an initial bilateral exposure produces a lateralized inhibition of convulsibility in SJL/J mice. Inhibition of the right side does not affect the convulsible state of the left side. Processes leading to inhibition and convulsibility may develop independently within the same animal. Keywords
