Interlimb coordination in 20-day-old rat fetuses

Abstract
Evidence for short sequences of interlimb coordination was found in 20-day-old rat fetuses. Frame-by-frame analysis of videotape records showed phase relationships indicating a pattern of alternation in sequences involving forelimb-forelimb and hindlimb-hindlimb coordination. Forelimb-hind-limb coordination was not observed.
