Abstract
Daytime Heat Capacity Mapping Mission (HCMM) thermal infrared data have been used to simulate night-time thermal infrared imagery and hence also thermal inertia imagery for a part of Europe. The method may enable the use of Landsat Thematic Mapper and MOS-1 thermal infrared sensor data collected during the daytime for the production of thermal inertia imagery. Keywords
