Abstract

Dithiocarbonimidatoplatinum(II) complexes, Pt(S₂C:NR)L₂, are obtained from Pt(allene)L₂, PtL₄, or Pt(PhNCS)L₂ by a reaction with organic isothiocyanates that involves a novel sulphur abstraction.
