Abstract
Cytological observations were made on developing seeds of soybean (G. max (L.) Merr. cv. Amsoy 71) using scanning and transmission electron microscopy and light microscopy. Attention was focused on the maternal tissues of the seed coat and embryo sac. An hypothesis of photosynthate import, unloading and movement to the embryo is presented. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
