Effect of Dietary Casein-Sucrose Ratios on Amino Acid Composition of Dentinal Protein

Abstract
Polystyrene resin was used for the chromatographic analysis of the proteins isolated from human dentin and from the incisors of rats fed diets containing 20, 30, and 40% casein. The amino acid composition of the human dentin protein determined by this precise method, was similar to that previously found by other methods of analysis and by other investigations. The rat incisor dentinal proteins from the 3 diets showed no differences one from the other and closely resembled the human dentinal protein in amino acid composition.
